2020: Raffa’s / Kingwood, TX

In January of 2020, Tony Raffa of Raffa’s Waterfront Grill in Kingwood, TX was kind enough to host our fourth year Peacemeal dinner. There were over 130 people in attendance. Dr. Todd Miller conducted a small vocal musical group with accompaniment by Dr. Rob Hunt. Dr. Kathy Culmer regaled the group with her storytelling. Xia Xia Zhang played the violin and Benjamin Calip closed out the program with a glorious rendition of “The Impossible Dream.” It was the largest turnout in one place that we’ve had since the tradition’s inception. Simultaneously, there were dinners taking place in Los Angeles, Brooklyn, and in international waters.
